E. J. Pontiff was founded by Eric Pontiff to deliver residential homes which have distinction though quality and value. Since a young age, Eric has worked with the natural environment building and improving his family’s cranberry farm founded in 1938. This attention to detail and motivation to succeed led Eric to Babson College where he received a degree in Finance and Real Estate Development. After graduation, he worked as a Project Manager developing commercial and industrial space and earning a Massachusetts Construction Supervisors License. For the past fifteen years Eric has been president and managing partner of E. J. Pontiff and Cedar Meadow Cranberry, Inc. Eric resides in Duxbury with his wife and three sons where he enjoys boating and skiing.
Eric Pontiff is a general contractor/builder that I would recommend to anyone who wants quality construction, rapid execution and a reasonable price. Eric built a summer home for us recently. He started in November by demolishing the existing structure and in May the following year, it was ready to move in. Building went on in the dead of a New England winter and we all know how tough that can be. Custom design, over 2000 sq. ft, 2 floors, full basement, 2.5 bath, stone fireplace, large deck, all built with exceptional quality, without cutting corners, on time and on cost. Since that time I have come in contact with various other general contractors and Eric wins every comparison. He is a star among his peers. If I ever build another house – he is the builder I’ll go to.
